In Butler, Pennsylvania, chaos broke out at a rally where former President Donald Trump was speaking. Gunshots rang through the crowd, leading to Trump being whisked off stage. His campaign reassured the public that he was “fine” and thanked law enforcement and first responders for their swift action.

During the rally, Trump was discussing border crossing numbers when the terrifying incident occurred. He was seen reaching towards his neck and there appeared to be blood on his face. Agents immediately rushed the stage and the crowd erupted into screams as the bangs continued.

Despite the frightening situation, Trump managed to get back on his feet and pump his fist, which was met with cheers from the crowd. His motorcade left the venue and his condition was still unknown at the time.

Police quickly cleared the fairgrounds, labeling it a crime scene. The US Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies were yet to respond to inquiries about the incident. President Joe Biden, when asked about the situation, simply replied with a firm “No.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express his prayers for Trump’s safety. The situation left many in shock and uncertainty as more details were awaited.
