A tragic incident unfolded outside of Toyota’s south office in Tarouba on July 13, resulting in the loss of a Rio Claro businesswoman’s life. Carissa Ramrattan fell victim to a senseless act of violence when gunmen attacked her as she was entering the compound, stealing her handbag before fleeing the scene. Despite being rushed to the San Fernando General Hospital for treatment, Ramrattan ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
The police promptly cordoned off the area, keeping staff and customers safe while they investigated the crime. Unfortunately, no information was disclosed about the incident by the officers on site, and relatives of the victim present at the scene declined to speak to the press.
