STARNEWS broke the news on July 1, revealing that Zion.T’s exclusive contract with the label has come to an end, with no plans for renewal. However, both parties are showing their support as they go their separate ways.
A representative from THEBLACKLABEL confirmed the news, stating, “It is true that our exclusive contract with Zion.T has ended.” This marks the end of an era that began when Zion.T joined THEBLACKLABEL after leaving Amoeba Culture back in April 2016. Despite the split, Zion.T isn’t slowing down – he has even established his creative company, STANDARD FRIENDS, while continuing to work under THEBLACKLABEL as an artist.
