Trinidad Cement Ltd (TCL) recently revealed some major shakes up within its executive management team. Guillermo Rojo De Diego, the current general manager, is set to be replaced by Gonzalo Rueda Castillo, who is currently the vice president of commercial at Cemex. In addition, Gustavo Alejandro Ruiz Silva, the group strategic planning manager, will be handing over the reins to Roberto Adrian Villarreal Villarreal.

These changes were officially announced on the TT Stock Exchange’s website. Rojo, who took on the role of general manager back in 2019, will be guiding Castillo through the transition period. Castillo, boasting over 25 years of experience with the company, will now be overseeing TCL’s operations in Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, and Guyana.

On the other hand, Silva, who assumed the position of strategic planning manager in 2021, will be succeeded by Villareal. With a decade of experience in the Caribbean region and prior roles as a general manager for operations in Barbados and Guyana, Villareal seems well-equipped to step into this new role seamlessly.
