Three athletes from the TT Association of Masters Athletics dominated the 2024 Pan American Masters Track & Field Championship in Cleveland, Ohio. Natasha Kelshall-Pantin kicked things off with a gold in the women’s 400m dash 45-49 age group, clocking an impressive time of 1.02.29. Following her lead, Michelle Sturge took home gold in the women’s 100m dash 55-59, finishing in a speedy 13.67s. To round off the trio, Murrien Mitchell claimed victory in the 100m men’s 45-49 event with a time of 11.98 seconds.

Their stellar performances have put them at the top of the medal table, leaving their competition in awe. Kelshall-Pantin will be looking to add another gold to her collection in the upcoming 200m event, where she will be racing against talented opponents from India and the USA. Sturge and Mitchell will also be back on the track, hoping to continue their winning streaks and secure more gold medals for TT.
