MP Roger Monroe reported that the passage of Hurricane Beryl did not cause any major damage in Toco/Sangre Grande. Despite the storm, there were no reports of significant destruction in the area. Monroe mentioned that light rain began falling in his constituency after daybreak, but only two homes in Toco and Cumana were partially damaged due to strong winds. Additionally, a few fallen trees were reported in the Toco area, but the situation was promptly handled. Despite this, Trinidad is still under a tropical storm warning, while Tobago remains under a hurricane warning according to the Meteorological Office.
