In a heart-pounding match at Berlin’s Olympiastadion, Spain secured their fourth European Championship title with a thrilling 2-1 victory over England. The winning goal came in the 87th minute when Mikel Oyarzabal expertly tapped in Marc Cucurella’s cross, preventing the match from going into extra time.

England put up a valiant fight, with substitute Cole Palmer scoring the equaliser in the 73rd minute after Nico Williams opened the scoring in the 47th minute with a goal assisted by 17-year-old Lamine Yamal. Despite England’s efforts, Spain emerged victorious, adding to their previous titles in 1964, 2008, and 2012.
