It seems Rob McElhenney isn’t one to let a missed cameo go unnoticed! The Always Sunny in Philadelphia star recently took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to playfully call out his friend and business partner Ryan Reynolds for cutting his appearance in the mega-hit MCU film, Deadpool & Wolverine. McElhenney humorously shared that he had traveled 6,000 miles to shoot his cameo, only to discover it had been left on the cutting room floor. Fans joined in on the fun, with some even requesting the “McElhenney cut” to be released.

Reynolds, known for his witty banter, recently discussed the challenges of keeping cameos under wraps in the highly anticipated film. In an attempt to throw off fans, there was even talk of a fake film titled Alpha Cop that would eventually reveal itself to be Deadpool & Wolverine five minutes in. The actor remarked on the difficulty of avoiding leaks, expressing gratitude that some surprises had remained intact for audiences.
