Heavy rain in St. Vincent put a damper on the match between TT and Windwards Islands, resulting in a no result. The weather also caused delays in the start of the other two West Indies Rising Stars Men’s U19 Two-Day Championship matches on July 17.

Over at the Park Hill Playing Field in Colonaire, the TT match was completely washed out. This unfortunate turn of events leaves TT still without a win after three matches, as their first two matches against Barbados and Jamaica also ended in draws due to rain.

As of press time on July 17, the other matches were still underway despite the delayed starts.

Meanwhile, at the Arnos Vale Playing Field in Kingstown, an impressive unbeaten 75 from Jatario Prescod led Barbados U19s to a solid 201/9 after 64 overs. Guyana, on the other hand, struggled early on and were 31/5 after 11 overs in their pursuit of victory.

Over at the Sion Hill Playing Field, Leewards Islands were dismissed for a mere 80 runs in 29.2 overs. In response, Jamaica had a steady start at 3/1 after two overs.
