The victim, a 22-year-old aspiring aesthetician, was found dead after being rushed to the hospital by an unknown individual in the early hours of July 21. Doctors noted signs of violence on her body, revealing the extent of the abuse she had suffered at the hands of her boyfriend.

Despite numerous instances of physical and emotional abuse, the victim’s mother recalled how her daughter repeatedly returned to her abuser, even after being rescued and provided with a safe haven.
