King Charles is looking to make some major moves once his brother Prince Andrew vacates the Royal Lodge. The Duke of York’s recent scandals have prompted the King to plan for renovations and repairs on the property, and he may even consider cutting off the £4 million annual payment to Prince Andrew.
An insider revealed, “It makes sense for Royal Lodge to be handed back to Crown Estates for much-needed repairs and renovations. Renting out the property could bring in substantial income for the Crown Estates, the King, and the country, rather than being a drain on resources.”
According to a property expert, renting out the Royal Lodge could bring in around £1 million a year due to its size and royal connections. It seems King Charles has big plans for the Royal Lodge once it is no longer occupied by Prince Andrew.
