Princes Town police are actively seeking two individuals believed to be involved in the attempted murder of a man in Moruga. The victim, who sustained gunshot wounds to his chest, right arm, and right shoulder, remains hospitalized at the San Fernando General Hospital as of July 17.

According to authorities, the incident took place on the afternoon of July 16 when the victim was at home in Indian Walk. He was abruptly awoken by a knock on his front door and upon investigating, found two men outside. Despite not responding to the men’s persistent knocking, one of them proceeded to open fire with a sawn-off shotgun, injuring the victim before fleeing the scene.

Emergency Health Services (EHS) personnel and Southern Division police were promptly notified, and the victim was first taken to the Princes Town District Health Facility before being transferred to the hospital for further medical attention. The investigation into this harrowing event is currently underway as law enforcement officers work diligently to identify and locate the suspects.
