In a heartfelt post on her official X account, Gyuri, a member of the popular girl group KARA, has reached out to fans for their prayers ahead of her upcoming surgery. The star shared a photo from her hospital bed, showing her feet as she prepared for the procedure scheduled for the following day.
Facing severe fractures in her cheekbone and eye socket from a recent private event, Gyuri sought medical attention and was advised to undergo surgery. The recovery period is expected to last four to five weeks, forcing her to put all planned activities on hold for the month of July.
While Gyuri focuses on her health, KARA is gearing up for the release of their new single, “I Do I Do,” set to drop on July 24. Fans can also look forward to upcoming concerts in Tokyo and Osaka in August.
