In a recent scandal that has the Bachelor Nation buzzing, former contestant Ashley Iaconetti has called out Kelly Ripa for her “offensive” interview with Bachelorette star Jenn Tran. During Tran’s appearance on “Live With Kelly and Mark,” Ripa apparently grilled the Season 21 lead for not finding a husband in more traditional settings like an “office” or “medical school.”

Speaking on her “Almost Famous” podcast, Iaconetti expressed her disappointment with Ripa’s apparent bias against “The Bachelor” franchise. According to Iaconetti, Ripa seems to have a personal vendetta against the reality dating show, often skeptical of the leads and the entire process.

Furthermore, Iaconetti shared anecdotes about her co-host Ben Higgins’ awkward encounter with Ripa on “Live With Kelly and Michael” in 2016. Higgins joked that Ripa’s apparent dislike for the show made for a tense interview.

Despite the perceived tension on screen, insiders reported to Entertainment Weekly that there was no bad blood between Tran and Ripa. In fact, the conversation was received well with friendly banter exchanged.

So, the drama continues to unfold in the Bachelor Nation. While Ripa may not be a fan of the show, millions of viewers are eagerly tuning in to see the latest episodes of “The Bachelorette” on Monday nights. Stay tuned for more updates as the saga unfolds.
