In a recent interview with the Times of London, Cara Delevingne opened up about the devastating fire that destroyed her home. Despite the tragedy, Delevingne is grateful for her sobriety, acknowledging that if she had still been using drugs and alcohol, the impact would have been even more profound.

“It sucks, but everyone was safe, and like anything, if I’d not been sober I would still be reeling over that. It would still affect me really deeply,” Delevingne shared.

While she is still saddened by the loss, Delevingne refuses to let it hold her back. Instead, she is focusing on working through the experience and remains positive about the future.

The massive fire occurred at Cara’s L.A.-area home in March, but thankfully everyone, including her beloved cats, escaped unharmed. While her parents believe a rogue power line may have caused the fire, the official cause remains “undetermined” after investigation by the L.A. Fire Department.

Despite the complete loss of her home, Delevingne has no plans to move back to the UK. She expressed her love for the U.S.A. and intends to remain in the country.

It seems that Cara Delevingne’s perspective on life remains positive, even in the face of adversity. She is a true inspiration as she navigates one of the biggest challenges of her life.
