Alyssa Milano is not one to back down in the face of adversity, especially when it comes to supporting her son’s baseball team. Despite facing criticism for starting a crowdfunding campaign to cover tournament costs, she stood her ground and ultimately proved the naysayers wrong.

In a recent Instagram post, Milano proudly shared that her 12-year-old son Milo’s team placed 3rd out of 70 teams in a tournament. She expressed her gratitude to everyone who donated to the cause, ensuring that every child on the team was able to participate and make the trip with their families.

Accompanied by her husband David Bugliari and daughter Elizabella, Milano shared photos from the team’s trip to Cooperstown, New York, showcasing the joy and camaraderie that comes with youth sports.

Despite facing criticism for not personally funding the program, Milano made it clear that she has contributed in other ways, such as paying for uniforms, sponsoring kids who can’t afford dues, and supporting the team’s fundraising efforts.

Thanks to the generosity of donors, Milo’s team surpassed their fundraising goal, raising $11,175 for their travel costs. Milano expressed her appreciation to all who contributed and emphasized that every little bit helped make a difference for the young athletes and their families.

While the journey wasn’t without its challenges, Milano remains proud of her son’s team and grateful for the support they received. As she looks to the future, she hopes to continue advocating for youth sports and providing opportunities for kids to pursue their athletic dreams.
