The highly anticipated Sagicor Junior Tennis tournament is making a big move this year, shifting from its usual venue at the Public Courts at the Nelson Mandela Park in St Clair to the National Racquet Centre in Tacarigua. Tennis enthusiasts, get ready for some thrilling matches from July 6-11, starting at 9 am daily.

Organized by Tennis Patrons Academy and Sagicor, this event is not one to miss as it celebrates its impressive 23rd year next month. Registration for the tournament is open until July 2, so aspiring competitors should hurry to secure their spots.

Boys and girls from various age groups, ranging from Under-10 to Under-21, will be showcasing their skills in both singles and doubles games. Get ready to witness some fierce competition as players from Guyana and St Lucia are set to participate alongside local talent.

For beginners and intermediate players interested in honing their skills, the Red Ball Under-10 tournament offers a safe and competitive environment to learn and grow in the sport.

Asha Nabbie, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Sagicor Life Inc Southern Caribbean, expressed her excitement about the event’s move to Tacarigua and the participation of international teams, highlighting the event’s longstanding success over the past 23 years.

Tournament director Neil Lingo shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming competition, promising an exciting year with both new and seasoned players. The Sagicor Junior Tennis tournament holds a special place on the TT junior tennis circuit, bringing together friends and competitors alike for a week of thrilling matches.
