Dua Lipa’s headline performance at Glastonbury 2024 has been met with accusations of miming, but don’t jump to conclusions just yet. Some viewers noticed that Lipa’s vocals appeared too polished to be live, leading to speculation that she might be lip-synching. However, it seems that technical issues may have been the culprit, as switching to Freeview reportedly resolved the out-of-sync audio.

Despite the miming accusations, fans were quick to defend Lipa, praising her strong vocals and energetic performance. The NME gave her Pyramid Stage slot a glowing four-star review, calling it an “immersive visual spectacle” filled with perfectly choreographed routines and quick outfit changes.

During her set, Lipa surprised the audience by bringing out Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker to perform ‘The Less I Know The Better’. Prior to this collaboration, Lipa wowed the crowd with hits like ‘Training Season’, ‘One Kiss’, and ‘Levitating’.

But it wasn’t all smooth sailing for Lipa leading up to her performance, as her rehearsals were reportedly interrupted by a TikToker who broke into the venue. Up next on the Pyramid Stage are Coldplay and SZA, promising more unforgettable moments for Glastonbury fans.
