In an inspiring speech at the launch of the Scout Association of TT’s Camp Argyle 2024, THA Chief Secretary Farley Augustine encouraged the 200 camp members to believe that the world is theirs to conquer. He emphasized the importance of values such as God, respect for others, and being a gentleman, instilled through the Scout Association.
Aiming to equip young campers with essential life skills, Augustine highlighted the opportunity to detach from technology and reconnect with nature and themselves. National Scout Commissioner Mark Ainsley John also expressed his enthusiasm for the campers’ potential and the goal to nurture qualities like leadership, teamwork, resilience, and environmental stewardship through scouting.
