Sixteen-year-old off-spinner Samara Ramnath will be leading the West Indies women’s Under-19 team in a five-match T20 International series against the US. The series kicks off on July 20 at the Sir Frank Worrell Memorial Ground, University of the West Indies, St Augustine at 10 am.

Ramnath is captaining a strong regional team, with players like Amrita Ramtahal, Brianna Harricharan, and Kenika Cassar from TT, who all showcased their skills in the West Indies Rising Stars Women’s Under-19 Championship.

The squad also includes players like Abigail Bryce, Asabi Calendar, and Dicoreya Collymore. The games will be held at UWI, with the remaining four T20Is scheduled for July 22, 24, 25, and 27.

This series marks the start of preparations for the 2025 ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup. Both teams are gearing up for an exciting showdown, so be sure to catch all the action on the pitch!
