Samsung’s Latest Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Facing Quality Control Issues: Pre-Orders Paused in South Korea

In a surprising turn of events, Samsung has hit a snag with its highly anticipated Galaxy Buds 3 Pro earbuds. Not only did we previously report on ear tip issues, but now buyers have been receiving units with build quality defects. The tech giant is not taking these concerns lightly, as it has decided to halt pre-orders for the earbuds in its home country.

Social media has been buzzing with reports from early recipients of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro detailing various quality control issues. From uneven gaps and finish problems to misaligned Blade Lights (LED light strips) and torn silicon ear tips, it’s clear that not all units are living up to the high standards expected from Samsung’s flagship earbuds.

In response to these issues, Samsung has assured consumers that it is actively working to enhance quality control measures. As a result, pre-orders for the earbuds in South Korea have been temporarily suspended. However, don’t fret – the official launch of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is still on track for July 24.

In a statement on their website, a Samsung representative expressed regret over any inconvenience caused by these quality control mishaps. They emphasized that customers experiencing issues with their earbuds can seek assistance at service centers for exchanges or refunds.

Moving forward, Samsung is committed to conducting thorough inspections of all processes to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future prior to the South Korean launch date.

While pre-orders are still open in other markets like India and the US, shipping dates for US customers have been pushed back to August 28. UK customers have also been alerted to potential delays in pre-order shipments through an email from Samsung.

Despite these setbacks, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro remain a promising addition to Samsung’s lineup. Boasting a sleek stem design – a departure from traditional wireless earbuds – along with enhanced algorithms and voice recording technologies, these earbuds promise superior call quality compared to their predecessors.

Samsung has also upped their audio game with a new dual-driver setup featuring planar tweeters for top-notch sound quality. Paired with the new Samsung Seamless Codec Ultra High Quality (SSC UHQ) for pristine 24-bit 96KHz sampling, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro also come equipped with Adaptive ANC, Adaptive EQ, and custom equalizers for an unparalleled listening experience.
