The search for a missing Vega de Oropouche taxi driver came to a grim conclusion on July 14 when police discovered his decomposing body in Biche. The body of Densely Eudovic, 40, was found in a forested area, tied up and with signs of trauma. Eudovic’s widow had reported him missing the day before, stating he had last been seen leaving for work on July 12.
A search led by ASP Sookdeo, involving the Anti-Kidnapping Unit and Eastern Division Task Force, eventually located Eudovic. His body was found in his underwear with his feet and right hand tied together, and his left arm amputated. Police also noted a wound on his neck. Eudovic’s widow positively identified the body at the scene.
The missing taxi driver’s car was later found in Arima, adding to the mystery of his disappearance. Homicide Region Three is currently investigating this tragic case, trying to piece together the circumstances surrounding Eudovic’s untimely death.
