SEVENTEEN’s Woozi Sets the Record Straight on AI in Music
In a recent turn of events, SEVENTEEN’s very own Woozi has taken the opportunity to address the rumors swirling around the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in their music.
Reports from a foreign news outlet suggested that SEVENTEEN, among other top artists, may have been dabbling in AI to create their catchy tunes. However, Woozi quickly put those speculations to rest by speaking out about the band’s creative process.
At a press conference, Woozi mentioned that while he did explore AI as a tool to better understand its capabilities and limitations, SEVENTEEN’s music is always crafted by human hands. In fact, he emphasized this point on his Instagram Stories, stating unequivocally, “All of SEVENTEEN’s music is written and composed by human creators.”
Additionally, a representative from PLEDIS Entertainment confirmed, “AI has not been used to write lyrics for SEVENTEEN’s songs.” The agency made sure to correct any misinformation by reaching out to the original source of the article, which has since been amended.
So, rest assured, fans of SEVENTEEN can continue to enjoy the group’s music knowing that it’s the result of pure human creativity and talent. Stay tuned for more updates as this K-pop sensation continues to dazzle with their unique sound.
