Prepare yourself for some jaw-dropping news, gamers! FromSoftware, the iconic game studio behind hits like Dark Souls and Sekiro, appears to have unleashed its biggest dragon yet in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. And let me tell you, the size of these majestic beasts might just be the key to measuring the studio’s success.

Renowned YouTube channel Zullie The Witch, dedicated to all things FromSoft, recently uncovered a massive dragon that’s already met its demise in the gloomy Land of Shadow. This creature could potentially dethrone the Dragon God from Demon’s Souls, previously considered the largest at a whopping 182 meters from snout to tail. But hold on, there’s another deceased beast named Gransax in Elden Ring, stretching a colossal 328 meters long. Talk about legendary proportions!

Yet, the unveiling of Shadow of the Erdtree has flipped the script once again with an unnamed dragon estimated to be a mind-boggling 392 meters in size. That’s nearly 10.7 times larger than the Jagged Peak Drake, making even the colossal bosses of Shadow of the Colossus seem like mere minions. And guess what? This behemoth is already deceased within the game, showcased with eerie detail in a sketch on the in-game map.

It’s almost comical to witness a silent competition within FromSoftware to constantly outdo their own dragon sizes. The question remains – how much bigger can these creatures possibly get? Could we be scaling mountains that are actually slumbering dragons in the next game? Picture traversing dungeons deep within the bowels of these mighty beasts, revealing a treasure trove of their consumed treasures over centuries. Perhaps an entire game set atop a moving dragon – now that’s a fantasy RPG concept that even director Hidetaka Miyazaki would be proud of.

And let’s not forget about Bloodborne fans taking matters into their own hands by porting the game into Elden Ring. Talk about dedication! With modding efforts in full swing, it seems like a modding army is being assembled to bring this ambitious crossover to life.
