Police in the Southern Division are currently questioning three individuals in connection with a robbery that took place at a jewellery store in the C3 Centre in Corinth, near San Fernando. The incident occurred early in the morning on July 12th.
Although details are still unclear, authorities have reported that the thieves targeted Zina’s Jewellery and made off with a number of items. The total value of the stolen goods has not yet been determined. In addition to the theft, the perpetrators also took a security guard’s car from the scene.
Following the robbery, the Ste Madeleine police were promptly notified and managed to apprehend the suspects. However, the stolen vehicle remains missing at this time.
Upon visiting the jewellery store, our team observed that the front of the establishment was covered with black plastic bags, obscuring the view inside. A sign indicating closure was also displayed on the entrance doors.
Despite the alarming incident earlier in the day, many individuals in the vicinity appeared to be unaware as they continued with their daily routines.
