Attention all Fallout fans! The highly anticipated Fallout London mod is on the brink of release, with developer Team FOLON announcing that “the end is in sight” as they await final quality assurance tests. In a recent post on Twitter, Team FOLON confirmed that they have submitted multiple builds to GOG and are eagerly anticipating the “final green light” for launch.
“We have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that Fallout: London and its installer function flawlessly on all supported machines,” Team FOLON stated. “Rest assured, our team is committed to delivering a top-notch release, complete with our own installer and downgrader.”
Originally scheduled for release on April 23, 2024, Fallout: London faced delays due to an unexpected update from Bethesda for Fallout 4. Project lead Dean Carter expressed concerns about the impact of this update, lamenting Bethesda’s lack of communication regarding their plans.
Despite these setbacks, Fallout: London promises to be a groundbreaking mod, allowing players to explore a post-apocalyptic version of London and encounter a diverse range of characters and factions, including everything from parliamentary aristocrats to revolutionary cults. Plus, the mod features voice acting from Neil Newbon, known for his role in Baldur’s Gate 3.
While fans eagerly anticipate the release of Fallout: London, Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout 5 will come after Elder Scrolls 6, which is still in development. In the meantime, the studio continues to support Fallout 76.
