The Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee has unveiled the team that will represent the country at the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris. A total of 17 athletes, including seven females and ten males, will compete in various events from July 26 to August 11.
Leading the charge for Team TTO are seasoned Olympians such as Michelle-Lee Ahye in athletics, Jereem Richards in athletics, Dylan Carter in swimming, and javelin gold medallist Keshorn Walcott. Ace cyclist Nicholas Paul is back for his second Olympics, aiming to bring home some precious hardware alongside fellow cyclist Kwesi Browne.
The team will be accompanied by a group of officials and coaches, including manager Dexter Voisin, Chef De Mission Lovie Santana-Duke, Chief Medical Officer Rudranath Ramsawak, and Olympic medallist Keston Bledman as an athletics coach.
In athletics, athletes such as Michelle-Lee Ahye, Portious Warren, Jereem Richards, and Keshorn Walcott will be competing in various events. Meanwhile, in cycling, Nicholas Paul and Kwesi Browne will be representing TT, and in swimming, Dylan Carter and Zuri Ferguson will be competing.
The team will also be supported by a team of administration staff, medical personnel, and officials to ensure their success at the Olympic Games. With a talented and experienced team in place, Trinidad and Tobago is ready to make its mark on the international stage in Paris.
