PRO Series secured their spot in the semifinals of the 2024 Next Level Consulting Ltd (NLCL) under-15 community cup with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over 2023 champions FC Ginga. The game, originally scheduled for the weekend, was postponed due to bad weather, setting the stage for an intense showdown at Constantine Park in Macoya.

Level on 13 points at the top of group A, both teams knew a win was crucial to advance to the next round. In the 43rd minute, Jalen Hislop of Pro Series scored the lone goal, propelling his team to victory and securing their spot in the semis with a total of 16 points.

The defeat for FC Ginga opened the door for City FC to claim the second spot in the group, and they did so in style with a resounding 5-1 win over Creek SCC. Nadeem Grant’s two goals led City FC to a dominant performance, finishing with 15 points and leaving Ginga in third place with 13 points.

In another thrilling match on June 30, Cox Coaching School extended their winning streak to eight games with a 1-0 victory over Project Pro Academy. Jaylon Forbes was the hero of the day, scoring the decisive goal.

Joining Cox Coaching School in the semifinals is Union Hall United, who secured their place with a 3-1 win over HVC FC, thanks to DeJosiah Cyrus’ brace. The stage is now set for the semifinals, with Union Hall facing off against Pro Series, and Cox Coaching School taking on City FC at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium in Marabella on June 6.
