The Trinidad and Tobago Premier Football League (TTPFL) is gearing up to welcome a new CEO as Colin Wharfe steps down from his role. Wharfe confirmed his resignation on July 1st to Newsday, leaving the organization on the lookout for fresh leadership.

In an announcement on the same day, the TTFA revealed that they are now accepting applications for various positions within the FA and the TTPFL. These positions include head coaching roles for the national women’s football team, as well as the under-20 and under-23 men’s teams.

Former Police FC coach Richard Hood had been in charge of the women’s team, guiding a youthful squad to success at the Caribbean Queen’s invitational football tournament in Curacao. Brian Haynes, who led the TT under-20 team earlier this year, is also on the way out as the head coach for the under-20 and under-23 men’s teams.

The TTFA is also in search of a new CEO and marketing officer, as they undergo a period of transition with Wharfe’s departure. Wharfe submitted his resignation letter to TTFA president Kieron Edwards on the morning of July 1st, signaling a change in direction for the organization.

Edwards took over as TTFA president in April after winning the election against Wharfe. With the conclusion of the TTPFL’s second season and the upcoming appointment of a new CEO, the league is heading towards a new chapter under fresh leadership.
