Despite the heavy rain on the 28th, dedicated fans lined up for hours outside the “Super Natural” pop-up store in Shibuya, Tokyo – a hub of excitement for NewJeans enthusiasts. The pop-up store, which opened its doors on the 26th of last month, quickly filled up reservations in just five minutes. Exclusive access to the basement level was granted only to those lucky enough to secure a spot, with a well-organized system ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

The basement level catered to “true NewJeans fans,” showcasing an interactive media experience space spanning approximately 40-pyeong. Collaborative characters designed with the iconic Takashi Murakami were on display, accompanied by the infectious beat of NewJeans’ “Right Now.” Hani’s signature voice greeted visitors with the words “Bunnies, have a great day today,” sparking a chorus of “Kawaii” (cute) from every corner. Despite the cozy space, the layout was impressively efficient and thoughtfully designed.

Upon entering, guests were met with a delightful array of collaboration goods by Takashi Murakami, autographs from members, and charming photo zones to capture special moments. The hottest items flew off the shelves on the opening day, with NewJeans t-shirts and hats in high demand. Meanwhile, the second basement level, open to all without reservations, featured a practical selection of indoor slippers, eye masks, stationery, and pouches, proving that the store wasn’t just about fan merchandise but also offered everyday essentials.

Priced reasonably, a NewJeans character t-shirt would set you back around 2,700 yen, with smaller items like pens and pouches often costing less than 1,000 yen. In Korean won, the goods averaged around 20,000 won – a steal for fans looking to stock up on their favorite items. Even Korean tourists in Tokyo caught wind of the pop-up store, with visitors like Lee Jin-sun planning to pick up some bunny-themed goodies as gifts for friends and family.

To ensure fair distribution, a one-item-per-person-per-product policy was enforced, earning praise from fans on-site who appreciated the opportunity to snag a variety of items without issue. One enthusiastic fan from Taiwan even expressed her love for NewJeans albums, noting the added excitement of receiving a photo card of each member in every purchase. Amidst the shopping frenzy, shouts of “Min Hee Jin, I love you” rang out, bringing laughter and smiles to all those in attendance.
