Google has been teasing some exciting new features utilizing AI across its apps, and here’s what you can look forward to in the near future.

Let’s start with the Pixel. At Made by Google 2023, a Zoom Enhance feature was announced for the Pixel 8 Pro. This technology uses generative AI to predict and fill in the gaps between pixels, enhancing your zoomed-in images. It’s like something out of a sci-fi movie, but it’s right there on your phone.

Moving on to Google Home, soon Nest Aware subscribers can enjoy a streamlined summary of recent events created with generative AI. You’ll also be able to ask your Home app for specific information, making it a handy tool for managing your home.

Fitbit Premium users will soon get to test out AI capabilities through Fitbit Labs. One exciting feature is a chatbot that provides personalized coaching based on your fitness goals. It can analyze data like your active zone minutes and sleep patterns to offer tailored recommendations.

Google Photos will introduce Ask Photos, allowing you to ask questions about your images and get text answers. This feature uses Gemini to suggest top pictures and create captions for them, making it easier to manage your photo library.

Gmail and Google Workspace users will see a Gemini button in the mobile app for quick prompts and more contextually relevant smart replies. A voice prompting feature is on the way, along with an instant polish function to convert rough notes into emails with a click.

Google Maps is also getting an upgrade with LLM-powered chatbots for personalized search results, while Chrome will soon incorporate Gemini Nano for smoother browsing experiences.

Exciting updates are coming to Google Search with multi-step reasoning capabilities and AI-organized search results. Android users can look forward to Gemini Nano with Multimodality and advanced features like real-time scam alerts this year.

Gemini, Google’s AI system, is getting new features like live conversations and customized Gems. With Gemini Live, you can interact in real-time with concise and natural responses. Gems are tailored AI companions that can assist with various tasks, and Gemini Advanced users can create their own Gems for specific needs.
