The highly anticipated Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ is set to make its debut in the United States next year, bringing with it a slew of exciting track-friendly upgrades. At the heart of this performance-oriented variant is an upgraded twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine producing an impressive 603 hp. But the enhancements don’t stop there.
With a focus on aerodynamics and cooling, the GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ boasts a fixed rear wing, carbon fiber deflectors, and an active AirPanel air control system to reduce aerodynamic lift on the front axle. The coupe also features a carbon fiber package, 21-inch forged alloy wheels, and a high-performance braking system with ceramic brake discs.
Inside, drivers will find AMG Performance seats, a leather and microfiber sport steering wheel, and a high-tech digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. The powerful engine is mated to a nine-speed transmission and a fully variable all-wheel drive system, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 197 mph.
In addition to its impressive performance capabilities, the GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ is equipped with a range of cooling enhancements, active ride control, and active rear axle steering to ensure a thrilling driving experience on both the road and the track. Mercedes-AMG Chairman Michael Schiebe describes the car as the perfect choice for enthusiasts looking for a blend of performance and practicality, making it a welcome addition to the AMG GT family.
